Apply to 4Cs

The first step to becoming a student at 4Cs is to apply!

Applying to Cape Cod Community College is free and easy. The best part? We are an "open door" institution, which means that you can enter most of our program just by applying. Please note that we do offer several selective enrollment programs that do require additional admissions requirements.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Admissions to Cape Cod Community College is based upon the "open door" philosophy – each student is admitted on a first-come basis. Priority filing dates ensure that you can sign up for your classes:

  • Fall: August 15
  • Spring: January 10

Step 1: Review Admissions Requirements. Plese note that our "open door" admissions policy does not apply to certain programs: Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Technician, Medical Assisting, Medical Interpreter, and Nursing.

Step 2: Apply online

Step 3: Submit official high school transcripts if you are a current high school senior or if you graduated within the past 3 years (2017, 2018 or 2019). Submit official high school/GED/HiSet transcripts if you:

  • Have not yet completed your GED/HiSet coursework or examinations at the time you submit your application.
  • Are an applicant to a selective health program (Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Technician, Medical Interpreter, Medical Assisting, and Nursing.
  • Are an international applicant requiring an F-1 student visa.

Step 4: Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities ever attended.

Step 5: Don't forget your FAFSA! The Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is your first step in applying for financial aid. Learn more about the application process to ensure you can apply for federal, state, and college grants – as well as work study programs and student loans.
